The Lowell All-Americans are pleased to announce that Coach Jeff Kane
will be returning for his second season at the helm of the team. The 2010
season marks Coach Kane’s fourth year with the All-Americans, and
second year as manager.  He spent his first two years with the All-Americans
as an Assistant Coach under the tutelage of former manager Ken Connerty.
In his first season the All-Americans finished 13-28 in a rain plagued season.

Coach Kane was also recently named as an assistant coach for Holy Cross.
Previously he served as the head coach for Westford Academy, a position
he held for three years.  This past season under his guidance, Westford
compiled a 17-4 record as they won their second straight Dual County League
title. In 2008 he led Westford Academy to a 21-3 record and an appearance
in D-1 North Sectional Final, the furthest Westford Academy has gone in the
state tournament since 2003.  For his achievements with Westford Academy
he was named as the 2008 Lowell Sun Coach of the Year.  In his three years
as head coach with Westford Academy he has an overall record of 60-27.

He led the team to a state tournament berth as a first year coach in the 2006
season. He served 3 years as an assistant at Westford prior to assuming the
head job in '06. Before Westford, he served as an assistant at Littleton High
School in Littleton, MA for 2 years.

He played at the collegiate level under Jack Leggett at Clemson University
from 1997 to 1999. Member of 3 teams ranked nationally in the top 25.
Was a 4 year starter and 3 year All-Star at Action Boxborough Regional
High School from 1993 to 1996. His brother Ryan was a 6th round selection
of the Anaheim Angels in 1995.

Coach Kane has experience in the NECBL not only as an Assistant Coach,
but he also played in the NECBL in 1999 for the Rhode Island Reds when
he was at Clemson University. He currently resides with his wife Lilly in
Maynard, MA.
