Effrey Valdez #2 3B New York Institute of Technology Junior  2nd Season with Team Bats/Throws: R/R Height: 5-11  Weight: 190 Hometown: Flushing, NY

Effrey Valdez is returning for his second season with the All-Americans after a very
successful first campaign. Valdez paced the All-Americans with a team leading .326 average
and was second in RBIs as he manned the hot corner all year for the team.

At NYIT in 2009: Effrey led his team with a .401 average to go along with 11 home runs
and 40 RBIs.

At NYIT in 2008- Appeared in and started 49 games leading the Bears with a .332
batting average, 67 hits, 10 homeruns and a .540 slugging percentage and finished second
on the team with 44 RBI. Earned Division I Baseball Independent Newcomer of the Year
honors and Division I Baseball Independent All-Tournament Team honors. Had 19 multi-hit
games and 12 multi-RBI games.

At NYIT in 2007- Appeared in two games before injury ended his season.

Holy Cross HS- Lettered in baseball for three years, earning First-Team All-City honors
as a senior.
