AS A SOPHOMORE (2009)
Became a key part of the bullpen as a left-handed specialist … led the team with 32
appearances… finished the season with a 3.14 ERA … worked 14.1 innings and allowed five
runs on 15 hits … struck out 13 batters and walked nine … only allowed two extra base hits,
both doubles…inherited 48 runners on the season and only allowed 14 to score … pitched
0.1 inning in all three games at the Austin Regional and allowed one base runner on a walk
… came on in relief in a bases loaded jam with BC up 3-0 against Dartmouth (4/29) and struck
out the Big Green’s two best hitters to pick up the save … appeared in all three games against
Virginia, pitching 1.2 innings and allowing one hit … did not allow a run in his first 15
appearances of the season, a total of 6.2 innings.
