Rob Nicholas #18 RHP Franklin Pierce University Junior  2nd Season with Team Bats/Throws: R/R Height: 6  Weight: 200 Hometown: Southborough, MA

Rob Nicholas is returning to Lowell for his second season. In his first year Nicholas came
mainly out of the pen for the All-Americans. In his only start Nicholas pitched all 6 innings
giving up just 3 runs but the All-Americans lost 3-2. On the year Nicholas put up a 5.08 era
in his 13 appearances. He pitched 28 1/3rd innings picking up a save while racking up 18 Ks.
Nicholas also got 2 at bats striking out and walking.

At Franklin Pierce 2009: Made 22 appearances out of the pen posting a 1.25 era. He
finished the season with a 2-2 record in 36 innings while picking up 9 saves as the closer. He
also struck out 30 while walking just 15 while not allowing a single home run. Batters hit a
paltry .192 against Nicholas.

Before Franklin Pierce: Three year varsity starter at Algonquin Regional High School
(Mass)... Captured Division I MIAA State Title as a junior.... State runner up as a junior...
Team captain, Conference Co-MVP and All-Conference selection as a senior... Telegram
